David Palivec
President and CEO

A well-respected member of the casting industry, David joined Avalon in 2015 as vice president of sales and marketing. Assuming his current role in 2016, he is responsible for P&L, leadership of the management team, revenue growth, channel development and strategic acquisitions. David provides keen insights on the path we take to fulfill our customers’ requirements.

Justin Smith
Vice President of Sales

Justin joined Avalon in April 2020 as vice president of sales (aerospace and defense). He has served the aerospace, defense, space and nuclear markets over the last 10 years through various sales leadership roles. He will have responsibility for the overall management of the sales team and oversight of our independent manufacturers’ representatives.

Paul Hido
Vice President of Finance

Paul joined Avalon as vice president of finance in February 2020. As a CPA with extensive manufacturing experience, he has oversight of all accounting, finance and treasury matters for all Avalon locations. Paul’s work ensures we have the necessary resources to meet our customers’ needs.

Kevin Glazier
Vice President of Engineering and Quality

Kevin has spent his entire career in investment casting with Avalon. He joined the company in 1995 as its sole engineer, was named vice president of engineering in 2012 and then added vice president of quality to his responsibilities in 2018. Kevin ensures that all our facilities are adhering to best practices and that our processes produce parts that meet or exceed our customers’ expectations. He oversees R&D projects to evaluate new processes, new equipment and methods and explore ways to expand our capabilities and bring more value to our customers.

Amy Gingerich
Vice President of Human Resources

Amy joined Avalon in 2017 as our human resources manager/EHS manager for all locations and became vice president of human resources in 2019. Her primary responsibilities are consultation to management on strategic staffing plans, compensation, benefits, training and development, compliance, succession planning, budget and labor relations. Amy also oversees and manages EHS and supply chain functions for Avalon.
